It refers to an injectable treatment using botulinum toxin (botox) to paralyze specific muscles of the upper face, aiming to eliminate wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes. The result lasts up to six months and, if repeated continuously every six months for more than five years, can even eliminate established wrinkles, with the uniform deposition of fat cells at the point of muscle flexion in the face.
