Dermatologist – Venereologist
Katon Nomikos is a Dermatologist–Venereologist, a graduate of the Medical School of L’Aquila in Italy with top honors. He completed his doctoral dissertation at the Medical School of Ioannina, titled “Evaluation of the combined therapy of cryosurgery and topical imiquimod for the treatment of infiltrative basal cell carcinomas of the skin,” for which he was graded with distinction.
He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). He has served as Assistant Registrar B’ at Hatzikosta Hospital in Ioannina, and is the scientific director at the Central Clinic of Athens as well as at the Central Polyclinic of Santorini.
He has published articles in foreign dermatological journals (accessible via PubMed), and has presented work at the European Congress of Dermatology (16th EADV congress, Vienna, Austria) as well as at Greek conferences and seminars.
Ongoing education and staying up to date with all new therapies to achieve the best possible results in all aspects of Clinical Dermatology is his main goal and concern.
