General Surgeon
Antonis Koronaios is a General Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Glyfada. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the Medical University of Varna and holds a postgraduate degree in Health Unit Management from the Hellenic Open University. He served as a rural doctor at the regional clinic of Ancient Feneos at the Health Center of Goura and at the General Hospital of Corinth. He was also an instructor of anatomy–physiology at the vocational nursing assistant school of the General Hospital of Athens “G. Gennimatas.” He specialized in General Surgery at the 3rd Surgical Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens “G. Gennimatas” and further specialized in surgical diseases and surgical oncology of the breast at the 1st Breast Clinic of the Athens Anticancer–Oncology Hospital “Agios Savvas.”
He also specialized in the surgical treatment of hemorrhoidal disease and perianal fistulas using radiofrequency (Rafaelo, Fistura) at PAN – Klinik am Neumarkt Köln. He is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Surgical Society, the European Society of Surgical Oncology, as well as the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel and the European Wound Management Association. He has participated with presentations at Greek and international conferences. In his practice, he undertakes cases across the entire spectrum of general surgery, and it is worth noting that he has particular experience in the surgical treatment of hemorrhoidal disease and perianal fistulas, hernias, and breast conditions.
